This trail, which is approximately 8-10 km long, promises an unforgettable nature experience to the participants with a 3-5 hour walk of moderate difficulty.

Our route begins from the most convenient starting point in the region: Avusor Plateau or Yukarı Kavrun Plateau. Located at an altitude of 2500-2700 meters above sea level, these plateaus offer a perfect start to the journey. As we set off, we pass through lush meadows and small streams. Along the way, you can observe the daily life of the locals, grazing animals, and traditional plateau houses. The first section features a gentle and enjoyable trail, ideal for warming up for the hike.

The second part of the route involves a gradual ascent, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. During the hike, you'll be treated to stunning views of the towering peaks of the Kaçkar Mountains, vibrant wildflowers, and crystal-clear water sources. This 4-5 kilometer segment takes approximately 1.5-2 hours, with occasional short breaks to enjoy the surroundings. Small stream crossings and cool water springs add extra charm to the hike.

As we approach the lake, the scenery becomes increasingly captivating, and the trail becomes more defined. Lelvan Lake, situated at an altitude of 2900-3000 meters above sea level, is a unique natural wonder surrounded by rugged cliffs. Upon reaching the lake, you’ll be mesmerized by its crystal-clear waters reflecting the surrounding mountains. There will be ample time to relax, take in the views, and capture stunning photographs at this tranquil spot.

Around Lelvan Lake, especially in the summer, you may encounter areas adorned with wildflowers and occasionally spot wild mountain goats roaming freely. After enjoying this enchanting environment, we will take the same path back to the starting point.

Things to Note

The Black Sea region has a changeable and rainy climate. It can suddenly get cold or start raining. For this reason, it is recommended to bring a raincoat, windbreaker and waterproof shoes.
Dress in layers; different layers such as a thin T-shirt, a fleece and a waterproof jacket will help you adapt to changing weather conditions.
In addition to rainy and windy weather, sunny weather is also very effective, especially in summer. It is recommended to bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat.
If the tour includes highland excursions or nature walks, these areas can often be rough and slippery. It is advisable to choose shoes that you are comfortable in and that grip the ground well.
For such activities, it is advisable to carry snacks that are easy to carry and will keep your energy at the maximum level.
No seat number is promised at the time of booking.

• For day tours, cancellations, refunds, and changes are not permitted within 24 hours prior to the tour departure time. For overnight tours, this period is set as 14 days prior to the tour departure time. Guests must notify the travel agency of their cancellation, refund, or change requests in writing before these specified periods.

• In cases where the guest or a first-degree relative contracts an illness that prevents their normal activities for 10 days, or in the event of death, this is considered force majeure, provided there is an official medical board report issued by a fully equipped state hospital. In such cases, all payments made will be refunded in full.

The agency reserves the right to cancel the tour due to adverse weather conditions, insufficient participation, roadblocks, strikes, terrorism, war, the likelihood of war, or unforeseen technical issues that prevent the tour from starting. In such cases, all payments made will be refunded, or an alternative tour will be offered.

• Guests who are not present at the departure or pick-up points at the specified dates and times are not entitled to cancellations, refunds, or changes. For both day and overnight tours, it is the responsibility of the guest to arrive at the designated departure or pick-up point on the specified date and time. If delays or disruptions occur during the guest’s transportation, no cancellations, refunds, or changes can be made for the tour.

• Visa fees, insurance costs, and other expenses are non-refundable.
